英國又出現一位歌唱奇才,電視選秀歌唱比賽中出現一位鄉巴婦,長相抱歉,講話大刺刺,
她上台時觀眾和評審都顯得瞧不起她.
評審問她話,她也答得里里拉拉, 她叫Susan Boyle, 47歲,住在 West Lothian ,
問她夢想成為誰,她說Elaine Paige ,是英國一位長得很美麗的舞台劇歌手,全場訕笑.
孰知, 當她唱悲慘世界中的 I Dreamed a dream ,剛一開口唱完第一句,就令全場驚
喜,歌聲太美了.台下立時掌聲響起,三位毒舌評審也露出不可思議的表情.
她唱的歌詞跟她的悲慘境遇頗為貼切, 聽得令人泫然若泣. 台下觀眾則不斷喝采,甚至
起立鼓掌.連評審也站了起來.
最後三位評審給了她極高的讚美,第一位評審說是他在這節目三年來最大的驚喜
(Surprise),或意外.. 她得到3個最大的Yes,得以晉級.
